Here’s our take on the worldwide phenom that rose straight outta the U.K. history books, reminding us that although disaster strikes everyone, it’s how we handle it that counts.

In 1939, under the burden of World War II, the British government ordered two and a half million copies of the original poster reading: “KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON”, which was intended to be distributed and posted throughout the country to raise the morale of the public as they were facing impending invasion. Although mass quantities were printed, they were never distributed. Thus, history claimed another inspirational piece of art for which the designer is not known. That is, until it was rediscovered in 2000.
